​Stage It Up Youth Theater Group is led by Artistic Director and Owner Shekhina, MS (Ms. K.) Shekhina has a wealth of experience as an actress, teaching artist, poet, spoken word artist, and director in the dramatic arts and creative expression. Additionally, she performed in her one-woman show, plays, and short films. She has over ten years of experience in creating and running numerous projects for young people throughout Philadelphia, including churches and schools. Shekhina is also a Master's level psychotherapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and National Certified Counselor.
