Camp Safety

Guided by industry best practices, the American Camp Association, Stage It Up Drama, and guidance of governing health agencies, here are some of the procedures we will institute for camp to keep our kids & teams safe.

Daily Screening

  • All campers will be temperature-checked before entering camp each day. We will ask you a set of questions about their recent health each time your camper is dropped off at camp.

  • Cleaning

  • Our whole team will be regularly cleaning to disinfect our camp throughout the day, plus our dedicated facilities team will perform a deep-clean every night after closing.

Group Size

  • Group sizes will be limited, and we will respect guidance regarding camp group ratios and maximum campers per site.

  • Your camper's group, once determined, will remain together throughout camp and separated from other groups.

Hand Washing & Hygiene

  • Scheduled hand washing breaks will be built into each camper's schedule.

  • In addition to that, hand sanitizer stations are available for campers throughout the building for use during their busy and fun days!

Masks & Face Coverings

  • Staff will wear masks/face shields inside and outside the facility. Everyone entering camp is required to wear a mask/face shield.

  • Students will be asked to have a face shield during performances to make speaking roles more comfortable and safe.

Floor Markings & Signs

  • We will mark off safe distances throughout our buildings to help keep campers appropriately spaced.

  • Reminders for hand washing, social distancing, and safe sneezing are also posted throughout the camp.
